On the afternoon of June 20, the “Sixth Multinational Company Leaders Qingdao Summit – China-Africa Economic and Trade Procurement Matchmaking Conference” hosted by the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce and hosted by the Qingdao China-Africa Chamber of Commerce was successfully held at Qingdao Haitian Hotel. EASYBIZ, as the operator of Shandong’s foreign trade high-quality product warehouse, was also invited to participate in this event to discuss and cooperate with government and business representatives from 10 African countries, including Kenya, Mozambique, and South Africa, to promote China-Africa economic and trade relations to a deeper and wider field.
At the beginning of the event, representatives from Qingdao Municipal Commerce Bureau, China-Africa Chamber of Commerce, Qingdao China-Africa Chamber of Commerce and other institutions delivered speeches, pointing out that China-Africa economic and trade cooperation is an important pillar of mutual benefit and win-win for both parties. In the context of changes in the global economic landscape, it is necessary to build consensus and strengthen collaboration to tap cooperation potential and respond to challenges. In their speeches, foreign leaders expressed their importance to the Chinese market and hoped to establish cooperation with more Chinese companies through the matchmaking meeting.
Leader’s speech
In the keynote promotion session, Su Hang, Chairman of EASYBIZ, delivered a keynote speech on “Shandong Foreign Trade Quality Library, Building a Digital Trade Bridge for Chinese and Foreign Enterprises”. He said that Shandong, as a major manufacturing province in China, has a complete range of high-quality product resources, and the African market has strong demand in areas such as infrastructure construction, agricultural science and technology, and digital economy. The Shandong Foreign Trade Youpinku digital trading platform has integrated high-quality products from more than a thousand companies, and its business covers eight core categories such as machinery and equipment, auto parts, textiles and clothing, providing “one-stop” procurement solutions for African companies, while helping Shandong companies explore emerging markets.
Suhang emphasized that digitalization is an important foundation for building a China-Africa trade ecosystem. The platform will use big data matching and other technologies to accurately connect supply and demand, reduce transaction costs, improve cooperation efficiency, and promote the smooth and efficient development of China-Africa trade.
During the event, China-Africa Development Fund, the Kenya National Federation of Industry and Commerce, Haier Group and other institutions and enterprises exchanged and shared on topics such as industrial cooperation, development opportunities, smart life, and health protection, and explored new directions for China-Africa cooperation from multiple angles.
This participation in the conference has expanded emerging channels for the overseas marketing service system of Shandong Foreign Trade Premium Library; at the same time, EASYBIZ will continue to work hard to live up to its trust, drive service upgrades with technological innovation, and contribute to building a close China-Africa community with a shared future.
