Against the industry background of infrastructure recovery in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the rising demand in the European engineering market, the demand of European local engineering purchasers for high-end Chinese manufactured products is rapidly shifting from “bulk customization” to “available in stock and accessible services”. Local exhibition halls and service nodes are becoming the core bridge for Chinese manufacturers to enter the European market. Recently, the team of Budapest MG Engineering Trading Co., Ltd., a leading local engineering equipment comprehensive service provider in Hungary, visited our core overseas exhibition hall in Budapest, Hungary, and conducted a half-day on-site sample inspection, parameter verification, scenario adaptation communication and cooperation scheme negotiation around in-stock products of two core categories: Shandong construction machinery and commercial building materials.
MG Engineering Trading Co., Ltd., the visitor of this event, is a well-established service provider with 12 years of deep experience in engineering equipment and building material supply in Hungary. Its services cover 6 CEE countries including Hungary, Romania and Slovakia, and it has long provided supporting equipment and materials for local municipal infrastructure projects, commercial real estate development, and new energy station construction. Previously, the company’s Chinese supply chain procurement has been facing three core pain points: “inability to inspect samples in advance to verify quality, long cross-border delivery cycle, and untimely local after-sales response”. During this visit, the customer team focused on the heavy-duty wheeled excavators produced in Jining, modular new building materials, and supporting parts of engineering vehicles adapted to European working conditions, conducted on-site testing and verification of the equipment’s dynamic performance, load-bearing parameters, and environmental protection emission standards, and had in-depth communication with the platform’s local service team on core issues such as equipment adaptability to narrow construction scenarios in Europe, CE certification qualifications, and in-stock inventory scale.
In the supporting service session, the customer team learned in detail about the full-link localized services of the platform’s Hungarian overseas warehouse, including in-stock delivery cycle, local distribution network, on-site after-sales maintenance, and compliant customs clearance agency, and highly recognized the product quality of Shandong industrial belts and the response efficiency of the platform’s localized services. The person in charge of the customer said that previous cooperation with Chinese suppliers has always been limited to online communication, and they could not truly perceive the product quality, while the platform’s local exhibition hall and in-stock reserve perfectly solved the core concerns of cross-border procurement. At the negotiation site, the two parties reached a cooperation intention for the first batch of procurement of 12 sets of engineering equipment and supporting building materials, and finalized the preliminary cooperation framework for the subsequent regional exclusive agency.
In the future, we will continue to rely on the overseas exhibition hall, overseas warehouse and local service team in Budapest, Hungary, to provide CEE customers with full-link localized services of “accessible, visible, connectable and after-sales guaranteed”, continue to reduce the trust threshold and transaction cost of cross-border cooperation, promote more products from high-quality manufacturing industrial belts in Shandong to accurately enter the European market, and build a benchmark for localized services for Chinese manufacturing going overseas.
